ABBARCH Architecture Inc – Recipient of 2013 Maple Leaf Silver Award for Dining Terrace at Richmond Centre

The International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) has awarded the Richmond Centre dining terrace renovation project a 2013 Maple Leaf Silver Award for “innovative design and development of a new idea”. The project, spanning 15 months, saw a $30 million renovation that transformed a former Multiplex Theatre space into a stylish, open dining food court.

ABBARCH Architecture Inc is delighted to be a member of the winning team that includes: The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited (owner/management company), Gabriel Mackinnon Design (lighting designer), Hapa Collective (landscape architecture) and PCL (general contractor).

ABBARCH were Architects for the project and were responsible for the design of the exterior expansion, adjacent mall renovations and coordinating the working with GHA Design Studios for the interior design.
