The ICSC Canadian Shopping Centre Awards Program recognizes “outstanding achievement in marketing and design/development of retail properties and retail store design”. This year’s awards were presented at the ICSC Canadian Convention in Toronto, and the CF Pacific Centre project received the ICSC Maple Leaf Gold Award in the Mixed Use Category.
The CF Pacific Centre project involved renovations to 558,000 sq.ft. of interior space and significant upgrades to the exterior, including the replacement of the precast concrete façade with full-height glazing to maximise day lighting to the interiors. The project also included an extension of the existing sub-grade mall, a new three-level Nordstrom department store, and four levels of AAA office space with extensive natural light from new atriums.
