A Senior Architect with outstanding design and presentation skills, David has been a key member of the firm since 1994. He received his Masters of Architecture degree at the University of Manitoba and worked in Winnipeg and Toronto for some time before moving to Vancouver to join ABBARCH Architecture Inc. David has broad and extensive experience seeing projects through from conception to completion ensuring that both Clients' needs and design integrity are met. He welcomes the challenge of being fully involved from the beginning of a project as design architect, and expanding his role as project architect capable of managing a project team for contract documents delivery as well as contract admin, including field work and attendance at site meetings. As well, he has excellent knowledge of building technology having taken all modules of the Building Envelope Education Program (BEEP). David liaises directly with several major municipal planning and building departments including the City of Vancouver and fully understands the municipal process for securing development and building permits.
