ABBARCH Architecture Inc was founded in 1979 as Annand Burton-Brown Architects by Michael Burton-Brown and Ian Annand. In 2000, Ian Annand sold his interest in the firm to Jeremy Woolf and David O'Sheehan and the firm became The ABBARCH Partnership Architects. Kenneth Grotsky joined the partnership in 2003 and became the fourth principal. In 2007, the firm incorporated and became ABBARCH Architecture Inc. In September 2009, Michelle Beggs became the second principal in our Toronto office.

ABBARCH Architecture Inc is a full service architectural firm and practices throughout Canada. The firm has opened offices in Toronto (2003), Edmonton (2004), and Shanghai, P.R.C. in 2011. All branch offices are fully staffed and linked to the head office in Vancouver. Principals Michael Burton-Brown, Jeremy Woolf and David O'Sheehan are based in Vancouver. Principals Kenn Grotsky and Michelle Beggs are located in Toronto. Our Alberta operations are directed by Jason Hess who brings 20 years of experience to ABBARCH, and Shanghai by Raymond Lum who has many years of design, Architectural, and construction experience in Hong Kong and The People's Republic of China.

ABBARCH Architecture Inc recently introduced Associate Principals, Sally Emmerson and Daryl Hutchison located in Vancouver, and Robert Smith located in Toronto.

To provide an effective middle-management layer to the firm, there are also fourteen Associates, three Directors, and a Controller.
